The newly formed Senate Working Group for Malaria, co-chaired by Senators Feingold and Wicker, hosted a staff briefing yesterday bringing together three malaria sector experts to discuss policy, funding and research.

Mark Green, former Ambassador and Managing Director of the Malaria Policy Center was joined by Natasha Bilimoria of Friends of the Global Fight and Dr. Christian Loucq of PATH. The panel took questions from staff and covered the spectrum of issues from drug resistance to global health effort integration and health system strengthening.
