U.S. Policy
The United States government has long been a force in the fight against malaria. In fact the Center for Disease Control was founded to deal with malaria in the U.S. Today, the U.S. contributes large amounts of resources to fight malaria in a variety of ways. Additionally, the Congressional Malaria Caucus and the Senate Working Group on Malaria work on Capitol Hill to raise awareness about the disease and fight for more funding.

International Policy
Malaria is a disease that does not respect borders or boundaries. However, the response to this disease has truly been international. The G8 and the U.N. have both made pledges and participated in the fight against malaria. Malaria No More has international affiliates in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Canada who are all taking up the mantle of the malaria battle in their respective corners of the globe.

The Global Health Community
There have also been several organizations and champions from the broader Global Health community that have been leaders against malaria. The World Bank, the President's Malaria Initiative, The Global Fund, UNITAID as well as the Malaria Policy Center have all been participants in funding, programs and awareness building about the scourge of malaria. Individuals, from businessmen to politicians to celebrities have all lent their considerable talents and valuable time to the cause.
