Jeff Fortenberry

 

Congressman Fortenberry currently serves as the Co-Chair of the Congressional Caucus for Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases for the 112th Congress.

 

In November 2004, Congressman Fortenberry was elected to the United States House of Representatives to serve Nebraska's First Congressional District.

Congressman Fortenberry serves on the Foreign Affairs Committee with significant responsibilities for Middle Eastern affairs. He also serves on the Agriculture Committee, where he helped write the House Farm Bill and serves as Chairman of the Department Operations, Oversight, and Credit Subcommittee. Congressman Fortenberry also has significant personal experience in small business, and early in his career worked as a policy analyst for the United States Senate Subcommittee on Intergovernmental Relations.
