Roger Wicker
Senator Roger Wicker is the co-founder and co-chair of the Senate Working Group on Malaria for the 112th Congress. While representing the state of Mississippi in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, Senator Wicker has championed and been recognized for his commitment to a variety of issues. Notably, Senator Wicker focuses on health care research activities, supporting activities to fight diseases such as heart disease, cancer and polio. Senator Wicker leads the malaria fight as Co-Chair of the Senate Working Group on Malaria, recognizing that this is a valuable investment for the U.S. to make and that no person need die from a preventable and treatable disease.
